Rip Invincible Vin Scully 1927-2022 Shirt! You can buy a trainer. You can afford plastic surgery. You can buy facials. You can afford things that keep you looking young. That’s right. Money is useful. Good genes and lots of money, as someone once said. But when I’m saying that, I think we all know a lot of rich women who’ve had all sorts of looks and things like that and they look terrible. I changed my look and I stopped because I didn’t want to look distorted. I’m not proud of the fact that I’ve got [one]. Now, I don’t know if I’ll have to do it again. But I made it. I admit it, and then I just said, okay, you can get addicted. Don’t keep doing that. A lot of women, I don’t know, they’re addicted to it. I don’t take care of my face much. I don’t spend a lot of money on face cream or anything like that, but I moisturize, sleep, exercise, stay out of the sun, and have good friends who make me laugh. Laughter is also a good thing.

Alex Tieghi-Walker’s Los Angeles home is a quaint closet: nearly every item inside is one-of-a-kind sourced from friends, artists, and makers around the world. Rip Invincible Vin Scully 1927-2022 Shirt!  There’s a reclaimed plastic chandelier that Tieghi-Walker affectionately describes as a “strange octopus,” a cabinet made of bricks that look like they’ve been pressed through a pasta maker. and hundreds of unique plates and mezcal cups. (“I organize a lot,” Teighi-Walker justifies.) Then there is the outdoor bath, nestled in a jungle courtyard with sweeping views of Hollywood Hills. “Part of the joy of living in Los Angeles is the indoor-outdoor life,” he said. “It’s a kind of guiltless shower because when I flush it, it’s watering the garden.” All works reflect the curatorial eye and expertise of Tieghi-Walker. His Echo Park gallery and platform, Tiwa Select, represents self-taught creators who make functional objects. “This house and everything in it means the world to me,” he said.
